Copyright respect
gbwhtas.com respects intellectual property rights. We respond to notices of alleged infringement that comply with applicable law, including the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act framework where it applies. General site information appears on About; usage rules appear in terms of service.
Submitting a notice does not automatically mean a court has evaluated the claim; it begins an internal review consistent with statutory safe-harbor practices for hosting providers.
What to include in a notice
Your notice should identify the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, the material on gbwhtas.com that you believe is infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to locate that material (URL paths help).
Include your contact details, a statement of good faith belief that use is not authorized, and a statement, under penalty of perjury where required, that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder.
Unsigned or boilerplate emails without specific URLs may be deprioritized. If you are unsure whether material qualifies as fair use or commentary, consult counsel before filing.
Counter-notices and repeat policy
If content was removed and you believe the removal was mistaken, you may submit a counter-notification containing the elements applicable law requires, including consent to jurisdiction where appropriate.
We may terminate accounts or block repeat infringers where technically feasible and legally justified. Bad-faith notices or misrepresentations may expose senders to liability.
For non-copyright issues (factual corrections), prefer the contact page. Return to the homepage for editorial navigation.
Processing expectations
Review timelines depend on queue volume, completeness of your notice, and whether additional clarification is required. Incomplete notices may be acknowledged with a request for missing elements rather than immediate takedown.
We do not adjudicate fair use or contractual disputes between third parties; we apply the notice-and-takedown workflow at a practical level so that obviously specified URLs can be addressed promptly while protecting good-faith commentary where appropriate.
Editorial resources referenced in takedown discussions may include blog guides, MOD overview pages, and the download hub—each is evaluated on its own facts when a URL is challenged.
